I could also clearly see how gel-like the effect was on her cheek, but I still wanted it! I hate that kind of texture but I somehow convinced myself Punk in Spice would change my mind and make me step outside my comfort zone to do some glossy editorial looks. I watched this review from Sinem Salih who did an amazing job making me want this strobe glaze even though the product looked so sheer I wondered if it would even be worth the price. When I spoke with a MAC representative, they said the shade was not UK exclusive, but they did not have a date as to when it would be available elsewhere. However, I could get it from Selfridges US and it’s also now at Look Fantastic US. As of October 1st, Punk In Spice has yet to be made available in the US from MAC.
I took the picture straight after sharpening and using on both eyes.There are three shades total. I tend to use it on its own, underneath my lower lash line, and then a little in the corners over my black eyeliner! It is far too creamy, which makes it difficult to work with.
Now, I do love the look of this eyeliner, and it looks perfect with Tempting, however I wish the consistency was a little better. Whenever I wear this eyeshadow, I team it up with what I think, is a match made in heaven! The Lord It Up Eyeliner. This is, in my opinion and many others, a favourite among shadow brushes! It is an all-round brush perfect for applying, blending, highlighting and smudging! Pretty much everything really! I applied just a couple of layers, going for a light look seen as I was only going shopping! I used the Mac 239. The best thing about this eyeshadow is that you can build it up, you can either have a light finish, or go really dark with it, depending on the occasion or look you want to go for! From the Lustre finish, Tempting is a warm, chocolate-brown colour with flecks of gold, giving it a subtle shimmer! Perfect for me, as I dislike matte eyeshadows, but too glittery can look a bit cheap! I played it safe and went for my current, favourite Mac eyeshadow – Tempting. Even though I was just going shopping, I was so bored waiting, and i’m so rubbish at applying eye makeup, I thought i’d quickly practice. Yesterday while I was patiently waiting for others to get ready ( I thought I took long enough), I decided to pop some eyeshadow on.
